The rain will continue during the night. Temperatures will settle into the mid 50s overnight with a southwest wind gusting to 25 MPH. Remember, Daylight Savings Time ends tonight! Clocks will go back one hour at 2am.

Heading into Sunday, showers will continue at times, especially southeast of I-35, where we expect the heaviest rainfall – up to five inches forecast by Tuesday. There is a slight chance of storms becoming strong, with a higher chance of strong storms developing to the south Sunday afternoon through Monday night.

Showers and storms will continue into the beginning of the work week. Scattered showers continue into Tuesday with near seasonal temperatures. Some areas locally could see an additional 3-5 inches of rain by the time it ends. We will dry out briefly during the latter half of Tuesday into late Thursday before another low pressure system moves in to bring additional rain and storms to Northeast Kansas.
