Texas A&M fans and media react to uninspiring 44-20 loss to South Carolina – Texas A&M

Texas A&M is right back where it started at the beginning of the season. The Aggies had several opportunities to extend their lead, but a lack of discipline on the field gave South Carolina too many second chances.

Not much to complain about. It was a total loss for the team and one that everyone can learn from. Head coach Mike Elko wants an aggressive team and believes they have a more physical team when they step on the field. Normally I would agree, but the Gamecocks have one of the best defensive lines in the country and have played some very solid football. For the Aggies, losing Le’Veon Moss early in the game took away from the power play.

Defensively, I’m at a loss for the team’s inability to get the most sackable quarterback on the field all game long. Three or four times a free rusher hit the South Carolina quarterback but couldn’t get him to the ground. There are enough allegations and one thing Elko will do is take responsibility and assess what needs to be done to clear the penalties.

Below are some social media reactions to the Aggies’ loss to South Carolina on Saturday night
