TOPEKA (KSNT) – If Halloween candy wasn’t sweet enough this week, the Kansas Chocolate and Candy Festival was just the place to satisfy all your sweet tooth cravings.
The festival hosted their first post-Covid event and the crowd did not disappoint.
From chocolate to homemade baked goods and toys, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Show manager Zach Haney told 27 News his favorite part of the festival.
“I would say my favorite part of the festival is the stage. There are just so many unique things going on there,” Haney said. “From Hazel Hill doing demos to Jack, Joyride Coffee Roasters just talks about the process, the bean-to-bark process of making chocolates. So I’ve always enjoyed just watching the stage and seeing the different demonstrations.”
The festival is looking to expand to more locations in the coming years across the state to showcase more local vendors.
