Check out these stunning West Texas sunrise and sunset photos taken by our listeners – News/Talk 790 KFYO

Where do you think you can see the best sunrises and sunsets in the world? Could it be in Texas? How about West Texas where the land can be flat and seem to go on forever? At least here, your view won’t be blocked by tall buildings or mountains.

A few weeks ago, we asked listeners to submit their sunrise and sunset photos that they had taken in Lubbock and in West Texas. And our listeners did not disappoint.

Many say it’s hard to beat a West Texas sunrise or sunset, and while there may be some tropical destinations that can put on a show and give us a run for our money, I truly believe it’s hard to beat our sunrises and sunsets.

Below you’ll find listener-submitted photos of their favorite sunrises and sunsets captured on their phones and cameras. Some photos were taken on railroad tracks, lakes, Lake Meredith, the Canyon Lake System, farms, from buildings on top and in their own backyards. Enjoy the photos below!
