Since reports of JJ Reddick watching film of the game at a car wash, the internet hasn’t stopped buzzing with excitement. The player-turned-coach tactic is a breath of fresh air for NBA and Lakers fans. But when news broke of Redick’s devotion to watching film, the former NBA star Kenyon Martin revealed an even wilder story of his dedication.
Martin, the 15-year veteran journeyman, has revealed the strangest place he’s ever viewed match footage – the strip club. Speaking of Gil’s Arena show with hosts Josiah Johnson and Gilbert ArenasMartin admitted that he went to strip clubs to find peace and quiet.
A rather strange admission, but the journeyman was apparently finding time at the strip club to review the film.

The conversation came after Arenas and crew mocked JJ Redick following the hilarious story of him watching tape at a car wash. Gilbert Arenas quipped on Twitter that he saw Reddick watching a movie in the theater during a screening of Venom.

The team then delved into stories about the weirdest places they’ve seen a movie. Kenyon Martin certainly took the prize with his strip club story. However, Martin was not alone in this.
Arenas also recalled a story from his own experience. Arenas admitted that he, too, would bring a laptop to the strip club when the Wizards faced the Cavaliers during the 2006-2008 playoffs.
JJ Reddick earns coaching praise from Lakers legend
JJ Redick has been receiving praise from NBA legends throughout the community since taking over the Lakers HC. The 40-year-old first-time head coach has been a revelation for the team so far. A Lakers legend Matt Barnes took his podcast with serious praise for Redick and his coaching mantra.

JJ Redick’s Xs and Os were mostly visible in the Lakers’ offense. The team has a 117 offensive rating to start the year, compared to 115.9 under coach Darwin Hamm last season.
But the more visible change is in the ball movement and set play that the Lakers forward employs. As the team continues to progress through the season, expect to see the Lakers deepen and become a more cohesive offensive team.
