The Nevada Wolf Pack volleyball team fell short in a three-set match against Boise State, falling 0-3 at Virginia Street Gym.
The loss puts Nevada’s record at 11-12 overall and 4-8 in the Mountain West Conference.
Despite a spirited effort, the Wolfpack struggled to overcome Boise State’s offense. Gabby McLaughlin led Nevada with 12 kills, followed by Carissa Chainey who contributed eight kills.
Behind them with six each were Sia Lilley and Bella Snyder. Tehya Maeva provided valuable assists throughout the match, scoring 25 as well as 10 goals.
Libero Kinsley Singleton anchored the defense with 14 digs, adding to her team’s efforts to hold off Boise State’s offense.
Nevada’s blocking was a challenge throughout, posting just two team blocks to Boise State’s 11.
The Broncos remained in control, winning each set 25-21, 25-15 and 25-16, showcasing their offensive precision with a .314 hitting percentage throughout the game.
The Wolf Pack will look to rebuild as they hit the road for New Mexico on Thursday, November 7, with a 5:30 p.m. kick-off.
