Excitement for Election Day on November 5 is building and thousands of voters in the Wilmington area have already cast their ballots during the early voting period.
For those waiting to head to the polls on Election Day, here’s how to see exactly who’s on your ballot.
To find your sample ballot, go to the North Carolina State Board of Elections Voter Lookup website and enter your information. Then, once your registration appears, click on your name and scroll down to your sample newsletter.
From there, you’ll be able to see your options for every person running for office from local races to the next President of the United States.

When are the polls open?
Each polling station on Election Day will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. If you are in line at 7:30 p.m., you will still be able to vote.
Make sure you have your driver’s license or other valid photo ID in hand before you get in line.
