WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The Kids from Wisconsin Touring Band is looking for new talent for the 2025 season. Audition applications are now open for young acts.
Those selected will spend the summer honing their performance skills through a series of rehearsals. The audition is free.
The troupe consists of 36 student performers (22 dancers/singers with a 14 piece show band). Qualified applicants between the ages of 15 and 20, regardless of race, color or national origin, are eligible to apply. Applicants will be required to demonstrate artistic talent, stage personality and choreography (singers/dancers) during their live audition.

- Sunday, March 2 — Milwaukee
- Friday, March 7 — Wausau
- Saturday, March 8 — Shawano Instrumental Only at the Shawano Jazz Festival — SHAZZ!
- Saturday, March 8 — Oshkosh
- Sunday, March 9 — Madison
The Kids first performed in 1969 and have since performed to over 10 million audience members at state and county fairs, festivals, national trade shows and conventions. According to its website, the troupe visits hometown stages as well as famous venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Milwaukee Center for the Performing Arts, Detroit’s Cabo Hall, the Atlantic City Convention Center and the Canadian National Exhibition, which at the time was the largest fair in the world.
