JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, is back in Arizona on Saturday for a get-out-the-vote rally at a gun and ammunition store in Scottsdale.
Vance, a senator from Ohio, is scheduled to speak at Dillon Precision at 1:30 p.m. He will appear alongside Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s son.
His latest visit comes just days before Election Day on November 5.
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are in a tight race in Arizona, one of the few swing states in this year’s presidential race. Polls show Trump with a slight lead in Arizona, though the race is expected to be close.
Their campaigns have sent surrogates across Arizona as the race stretches into its final days. On Thursday, Harris and Trump held rallies in Arizona, drawing thousands of supporters each.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, is also coming to Arizona on Saturday and will campaign in Flagstaff and Tucson.
The trip marks Vance’s second straight week of campaigning in Arizona. Vance was last in the state last week for a rally in Peoria.
A written statement announcing Vance’s visit reiterated what has become the GOP’s closing argument: “Kamala Harris wrecked Arizona’s economy and border security, but President Trump will fix it.”
