Wise was immediately transported to a medical facility but tragically died from his injuries.

The investigation, led by Detectives Brandon Mosley and Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division, led to the identification of 19-year-old Amir Henry as the suspect. After warrants were issued for his arrest, Henry was located and taken into custody on Nov. 1 in the block of Bedford Drive with the assistance of the New Castle County Police Department. The arrest was made without incident being reported.

Henry faces multiple charges, including first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
