New Jersey bicyclist dies in hospital after being hit by van at intersection – NJ.com

A bicyclist struck and critically injured by a van in Mercer County last week has died from his injuries, officials said.

Victoriano Chose was hit shortly before 9:30 a.m. Oct. 26 in Hamilton, near the corner of South Clinton Avenue and Chambers Street, city police said.

Chose was running a red light when he was struck by the van, which had a green light and was traveling east on South Clinton Avenue, according to police.

Choz, of Trenton, was taken to a local hospital. He has since died, according to state police fatal crash records. His age was not immediately available. The driver of the van is a man from Trenton.

Hamilton police could not be reached Saturday morning.
