In-N-Out Burger plans to open a new drive-thru store in Anaheim, according to the “Opening Soon” page on its website.
The address is 540 N. Euclid St. at Anaheim Plaza, a mall based Ross Dress for Less, Petco and Smart & Final Extra. The space was previously occupied by Marie Callender’s restaurant, which closed in 2019.
The mall is north of the 5 Freeway, about a 2-mile drive from the Disneyland parking structure.
A plan submitted by the city’s planning and building department in July 2023 calls for demolishing the Marie Callender building and building a 3,879-square-foot restaurant with a 698-square-foot covered patio, a drive-thru that can accommodate 31 vehicles funds and a 7-foot memorial sign.
In-N-Out typically adds two locations to its website when they are close or under construction, about eight or nine months before opening. Projects often take months or years to go through city government permitting processes before reaching this stage.
Anaheim has another In-N-Out drive-thrus at 1168 State College Blvd. and 600 S. Brookhurst St.
