RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Victoria Brown stopped by Morning Break to talk about her pageant title as Mrs. Black Reno USA 2024 and her dream to win Miss Black Nevada USA 2025 at the end of the month.
The contest takes place in Las Vegas Friday-Sunday, November 22-24. The contest Ms. Black Nevada is the preliminary competition for the national Ms. pageant. Black USA.
Brown’s goal is to go to Washington, D.C., for the Miss Black USA National Pageant. If he wins the Ms. Black Nevada USA 2025, she wants to get more involved in community service in the Reno/Sparks area and connect with local organizations where she can continue to advocate for her pageant platform called I AM. She plans to attend town hall meetings, city council meetings, and get involved in lawmaking and policymaking to become an agent of change in the city and be a force for change. I would also like to host some kind of women empowerment conference.
