‘The fate of our nation is in your hands’: Donald Trump visits Las Vegas ahead of Election Day – Fox 5 Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – It’s the final stretch of the campaign season for presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

The two made sure to stop in Las Vegas just days before Election Day.

Before Harris took the stage in North Las Vegas, Trump brought thousands of supporters to Henderson for the Lee Family Forum on Thursday.

Supporters began lining up hours before the event began.

Trump was scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m., but took the stage nearly an hour later.

“I’m asking you to be excited about our country, I’m asking you to dream big again,” Trump said.

Both candidates have turned their attention to Nevada because it is one of the battleground states that could affect voter turnout in the presidential election.

“Every problem we have can be solved, but now the fate of our nation is in your hands. it is a very big country. I like it, I’m here a lot, even when I’m not on the campaign trail, but I like it and it looks great,” Trump said.

As Trump encouraged supporters to get out and vote, he touched on many issues such as immigration and the economy.

“I’m going to cut the cost of your energy in half in 12 months,” Trump said. “We’re going to cut your taxes, we’re going to bring thousands of factories back to America and back to Nevada.”
