BBC Bargain Hunt’s Roo Irvine is unrecognizable as she reveals a major transformation – Express

Bargain Hunt star Rue Irvine revealed her spooky Halloween costume on social media.

The TV presenter and antiques expert looked a lot different from her usual self as she shared an eerie black and white photo of herself in a striped top and holding a fake sword.

Ru also showed off a brand new hair transformation, chopping off her hair to reveal a new short hair that stopped around her eyebrows.

She showed off her Halloween costume to her fans on social media, with the post garnering over 800 likes.

Taking to Instagram, Ru wrote: “Happy Halloween my lovely spirits! Always be good and soft at heart and if not… I’m watching! PS.. any black cats that cross your path, send them a kiss and a safe trip home! I love you all!”

Irvine has been a familiar face on our screens for nearly a decade. Discovered by the producers of Antiques Road Trip in 2015, the Scottish antique dealer has since appeared on several BBC daytime shows including Bargain Hunt and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

The TV star has also starred in Mastermind, House of Games and Pointless and even started her own podcast.

Although Roux keeps her personal life out of the limelight, she shared the heartbreaking experience of her father’s death.

She revealed that she and her husband of twelve years, who also lost his own father, stepped down from their leadership positions to care for their widowed mothers.

She wrote on her website: “Kilcreggan Antiques came about quite a bit through (bad) luck when suddenly and unexpectedly in 2013 my wonderful father passed away. I was heartbroken and devastated.

“Then just three weeks later my husband Mark also lost his father to a long battle with cancer. We retired from our senior corporate jobs and focused on caring for our widowed mothers.”

Roux added: “I’ve always loved antiques and had developed a discerning eye, so my husband suggested we ‘go for it’ and Kilcreggan Antiques was born. A sliver of light has come from some of my darkest days. Fate?”

The podcaster has been married to her husband Mark, an independent councilor based in Argyll and Bute, since 2012. She often shares photos of them together on her social media.
