North Las Vegas breaks ground on new multi-purpose fields at Craig Ranch Park – News3LV

The City of North Las Vegas celebrated the groundbreaking of new multi-purpose fields at Craig Ranch Regional Park.

City officials gathered Monday to mark the start of development of the six fields, saying they will enhance recreational opportunities and advance sustainability goals.

Clark County provided a $10.2 million grant for the fields, which cover more than 1.86 million square feet.

Three pitches will have a natural surface, and three will have an artificial surface. They will accommodate a variety of sports, including football, soccer and lacrosse, and will be equipped with full lighting.

Nearly 2,700 new parking spaces will also be added to ensure the park can host more large-scale events.

The grounds are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
