How gas prices have changed in Reno in the last week
Concerns that Israel will strike Iranian oil facilities have spooked oil markets in recent weeks. The nation is reportedly no longer considering those targets, according to CNN, citing an anonymous source familiar with discussions about Israeli military planning.
“With the potential for an attack on Iran’s oil infrastructure diminishing as a result, the risk calculus for oil diminishing, and with continued economic weakness in China providing bearish sentiment, oil prices late last week fell back below the $70 mark per barrel, opening the door to a longer decline for a potential return to the national average,” GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said in a statement on Monday.
