Lubbock, Texas (October 31, 2024) – A house fire broke out Thursday morning in northeast Lubbock County, sending one person to the hospital. At approximately 8:30 a.m., the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a fire at a building located in the 5800 block of East Private Road 6515.
Emergency crews from the Roosevelt and Idaloo Volunteer Fire Departments, along with the sheriff’s office, responded to the scene to find a fire at the residence. First responders worked quickly to extinguish the flames and ensure the safety of all occupants.
A woman was treated for injuries sustained in the fire and transported to UMC for further medical evaluation. The severity of her injuries remains unknown at this time.
The causes of the fire are currently being clarified, the authorities are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
