GHOST Announces 2025 World Tour – livenationentertainment.com

Tickets on sale Halloween weekend

“As far as live acts go, they’re some of the best in the business” — THE LOS ANGELES TIMES

today, GHOST announced their biggest world tour to date, kicking off 55+ dates in the US, Europe, UK and Mexico next year. The GRAMMY Award-winning Swedish theatrical rock icons will tour the globe from the tour’s opening night on April 15 at the AO Arena in Manchester, UK, headlining the world’s most notable arenas – including the band’s first show at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on July 22. Additional dates will be announced as they are confirmed.

The 2025 world tour will be GHOST’s first outing since its 2023 RE-IMPERATOUR ended its North American run with two sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles — performances that were immortalized in the band’s debut feature film, which broke records RITE HERE RITE NOW — now available to pre-order on DVD, to stream on VEEPS, and to buy or rent via iTunes or Amazon — and the chart-topping soundtrack album. News of the tour first broke via a new installment of GHOST’s long-running web episode series Chapters, which picks up right after the events of the end of RITE HERE RITE NOW. Watch the new chapter HERE.

About GHOST

Amassing nearly 10 billion listens, GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock band and global sensation GHOST continues to bring the “euphoric spectacle” (ROLLING STONE) to their live concerts to ever-growing crowds, most recently at last year’s triumphant RE-IMPERATOUR USA 2023, which hit more than two dozen North American cities before its two-night finale at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. In March 2022, THE LOS ANGELES TIMES reported on the cover of the calendar that GHOST had “conquered metal and the charts” when its fifth album IMPERA debuted at #1 on the US album charts, entering the BILLBOARD 200 at #2 and bowing peaked at No. 1 in the band’s native Sweden, Germany and Finland, while cracking the Top 5 in another half-dozen or more countries. Featuring “Spillways”—hailed as a “sweetly constructed rock tune” by THE NEW YORK TIMES and later reimagined with Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott—and the Grammy-nominated “Call Me Little Sunshine,” GHOST’s fifth #1 at radio Active Rock – IMPERA excited ROLLING STONE, noting, “GHOST predicted the pandemic, now the metal band predicts the fall of empires.” The album features GHOST’s most relevant and up-to-date theme to date, set against a darkly colorful melodic backdrop, making IMPERA a listener like no one else – but unmistakably GHOST. After ending 2022 by cracking the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time with the RIAA Platinum-certified “Mary on a Cross,” as well as IMPERA winning Favorite Rock Album at the American Music Awards and Best Rock Album of the Year at iHeartRadio Music Awards, GHOST unveiled PHANTOMIME, a five-song cover EP, including a version of Iron Maiden’s “Phantom of the Opera,” which earned the band its fifth GRAMMY nomination. Most recently, GHOST’s seemingly limitless ambition took the band to the silver screen with the June 2024 theatrical release of the feature film RITE HERE RITE NOW. Moving THE LOS ANGELES TIMES into a rave “When it comes to live acts, they’re one of the best in the business — and now they’ve got the movie to prove it,” RITE HERE RITE NOW quickly became hard rock’s highest-grossing cinematic event in North American history and produced a chart-topping soundtrack album. From devoted followers to the curious uninitiated, the GHOST live ritual experience saw audiences from all over the world turn off their phones and live in the moment – completely mesmerized and captivated by GHOST.
