Marshall Strachan pleaded not guilty to any of the charges when he appeared for a private petition hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 31.
The 19-year-old was taken for further examination and remanded in custody.
Strachan, from Kilwinning, is now the third person to appear in the dock charged with murder amid ongoing inquiries by Police Scotland.
On Wednesday, October 23, Key O’Connor also did not enter a plea when he appeared in private at Ayrshire Crown Court.
The 26-year-old’s appearance came after police confirmed a man had been arrested the previous day.
As well as a charge of murder, O’Connor – whose general address is given as being in North Ayrshire – also faces a further charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He is currently being held in custody pending his next court appearance.
Officers have since confirmed that two more men were arrested on Friday 25 October, with one of the men later charged before appearing in court on Monday 28 October.
Kieran Lindsay, 19, pleaded not guilty to any charge of murder when he appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
The North Ayrshire man was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
The other man has been released pending further inquiries – the investigation is still ongoing.
Mr Taylor, 44, was found with serious injuries outside his home on Pollock Crescent at around 1.55pm on Friday 18 October. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The day after his death, following a post-mortem, police confirmed they were investigating a homicide – saying they believed the incident was a “targeted attack”.
