Bicyclist dies of injuries in Sunday crash in South Lubbock – AOL

The bicyclist involved in Sunday’s crash in South Lubbock has died from his injuries.

The Lubbock Police Department said Thursday that Charles Clay died Wednesday afternoon.

Clay was involved in the crash Sunday around 9:37 p.m. in the 10200 block of Indiana Avenue. According to LPD, during the initial investigation, it appears a passenger vehicle was traveling northbound in that block.

Clay, a bicyclist, was also traveling north in the 10200 block of Indiana Avenue when the vehicle collided with Clay’s bicycle. Then he was taken to UMBAL with serious injuries.

No other details about the crash have been released at this time.
