Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast for 6:50am. Good morning everyone and Happy Halloween. We had dry weather at the start of the week and isolated showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today is likely to be the wettest day of the week as we get some scattered showers today. Isolated showers will move through our area this morning and rain coverage will increase this afternoon. Scattered showers will develop this afternoon and evening. Make sure you have your rain gear for all your trick-or-treating plans tonight. Today’s highs will be in the 80s. The south wind will be around 5-10 km/h. It will be mostly cloudy tonight with some rain still falling in our area. Warm and muggy conditions will continue as overnight lows will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s. A few showers may move through the Greater Baton Rouge area Friday morning. A break in rain is possible around the late morning/afternoon hours, but scattered showers are expected to move through our area by Friday evening. On Friday night, the rain will gradually begin to fall. Highs on Friday will be in the 80s. SW wind will be around 5-10 mph. We will have drier weather this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be better days for any outdoor plans like visiting the Greater Baton Rouge Fair, games, etc. Saturday and Sunday mornings will be warm and humid with morning lows near 70. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy in the morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Warmer air will continue to move in as winds will be from the southeast. A few showers are possible west of Baton Rouge on Sunday, but the Baton Rouge area should be dry. Monday will also be warm and mostly dry, but there could be one or two isolated showers on Monday night.
