Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan to tour North America – this Eric Alper

JS Touring announced today that comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan will be working together again on a 10-arena tour in 2025 following the success of their first tour in 2023. Upcoming dates and cities are listed below. All shows start at 7:30pm. Tickets for all shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 27th at 10:00am local time.

Jerry Seinfeld says, “Jim is one of the best comedians I know. Especially if all you want to do is put on shows and eat. I can’t wait to hit the road together.”

To Jerry Seinfeld comedy career took off after his first appearance in The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create what would become the most successful comedy series in television history: Seinfeld. The show ran on NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous Emmys, Golden Globes and People’s Choice Awards, was named the greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide, and in 2012 was named the most – the best comedy series on 60 Minutes / Vanity Fair poll.

His recent Emmy-nominated Netflix projects include Jerry before Seinfeld and 23 hours to kill along with the highly acclaimed web series, Comedians in cars drinking coffee. Seinfeld has also acted in, written, and produced films (comedian, Bee movie), directed and produced the Broadway hit (Colin Quinn: A Brief History) and wrote three best-selling books (Is This A Thing?, The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Book, and Seinlanguage) and a children’s book (Halloween). He starred in the Emmy-nominated comedy film, unfrozen, which he is the director, co-writer and producer. Seinfeld continues to perform both nationally and internationally.

Jim Gaffigan is sevenfold Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, twice New York Times best-selling author, three times Emmy winning Best Touring Artist and multi-platinum recording artist. He is known worldwide for his unique brand of humor which largely revolves around his observations on life. His 11th special, The skinny onewill premiere on Hulu on November 22n.d as the streamer’s first original stand-up specifically for their new comedy vertical.

Gaffigan is among the top ten comedy actors on Forbes’ latest comedy list and Pollstar’s top ten highest-grossing comedians. He released his 10th comedy special, Dark palelast year on Amazon Prime Video, an unprecedented feat for the comedian/actor. Dark pale was met with critical fanfare, with The New York Times calling it “his best yet”. Last fall, Gaffigan co-headlined a sold-out multi-city arena tour with Jerry Seinfeld, and in May 2024 sold out two shows at The Hollywood Bowl during the Netflix Is Joke Festival.

In 2021, Gaffigan released his 9th special, comedy monster, on Netflix, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. He was also recently honored for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora.

Gaffigan can currently be seen opposite his co-stars Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden and Hugh Grant on Netflix’s unfrozen, which debuted as the #1 movie in the world on Netflix this May. He can also currently be seen starring in the well-reviewed and certified new sci-fi drama, Balatumwhich was named one of Vulture.com’s Best Movies of 2023 and is currently streaming on Hulu following its theatrical release.

Gaffigan stars as Mr. Smee on Disney. Peter Pan and Wendyopposite Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. Also premiering recently, Gaffigan joined the cast of HBO Max’s full circle, limited series from Steven Soderbergh and Ed Solomon that follows a botched kidnapping investigation, connecting multiple characters and cultures in present-day New York.

On the silver screen, his many credits include Three kings, Super Troopers 1 and 2and Chappaquiddick. 2019 was Gaffigan’s biggest year in film to date with a staggering eight films, three of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival inclusive Squad Zero with Viola Davis and Allison Janney, Those that follow and Light from Light – with many festival-goers and press dubbing Gaffigan “The King of Sundance.” Gaffigan was also recently heard in the highly anticipated Disney/Pixar animated film, Luke, vs. Jacob Tremblay and Maya Rudolph.

Gaffigan recently had two films in which he debuted as a lead. The comedy movie Being Frankand American dreamera dark thriller that casts him as an employee of a ride-sharing app who works as a private driver for a drug dealer. Gaffigan can currently be seen opposite Ethan Hawke at IFC Films Tesla, as well as opposite Josh Hartnett in Saban Films’ Most wanted.

In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical film The Jim Gaffigan Showwhich he wrote and produced with his wife Jeanie, Gaffigan has guest starred in many television comedies and dramas ranging from Portlandia and Bob’s Burgers to HBO’s cult hits Flight of the Concordes to dramatic roles in Law and order.

Gaffigan regularly makes humorous comments about CBS Sunday Morning for which he won 3 Emmys. In 2018, Jim served as Master of Ceremonies at The Al Smith Memorial Dinner. In 2015, Gaffigan had the great honor of performing in front of Pope Francis and over 1 million festival goers Festival of families in Philadelphia.

Gaffigan and his wife currently live in Manhattan with their five loud and expensive children.
