One person in a “serious” state after messages of shooting in North Foster – WBRZ

Baton Rouge – A man was arrested on Tuesday for claiming to have thrown a brick through the truck’s windshield while traveling on Avenue Madison and then fired the driver when they stopped the vehicle.

Baton Ruzhi Police Department said 40-year-old Edwin Curry threw a brick into the windshield of a man’s truck. When the driver stopped calling the authorities, Curry entered the home and grabbed a rifle. Police said he had shot the victim many times.

During the investigation, police said Curry was at the scene and was removed without incidents. The victim was taken to hospital and treated for life -threatening firearms.

Curry was booked for a second -degree murder attempt, property damage, aggravated property damage, illegal use of weapons, obstruction of justice and a criminal, possessing a firearm.

BRPD said Curry has been arrested repeatedly since 2002. The court records show that he had an active order from 2023 for a crime possessing a firearm.
