See who’s playing in Irving Berlin White Christmas at the Papermill Playhouse

The show features some of Berlin’s most popular tunes including ‘Blue Skies’, ‘Count Your Blessings’ and the title track ‘White Christmas’.

New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse has announced an all-star cast for its upcoming production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas: The Musical.

Directed by Artistic Director Mark S. Hobby, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will begin performances on November 27, before opening on December 1. The competition will continue until December 29.

Based on the classic 1954 holiday film. Irving Berlin’s White Christmas follows two army buddies who enlist the help of their show business friends to put on a show at a picturesque Vermont inn with their perfect match; sister performance duo. The show features some of Berlin’s most popular tunes including ‘Blue Skies’, ‘I Love a Piano’, ‘How Deep Is the Ocean?’, ‘Count Your Blessings’ and the iconic title track ‘White Christmas’.

The Paper Mill production will star Keeley Beirne (Moulin Rouge! The musical) as Judy Haynes, Ashley Blanchett (A waitress) as Betty Haynes, Max Clayton (The music man) as Bob Wallace and Casey Garvin (Some like it hot) as Phil Davis.

They will be supported by Stacia Fernandez (Mamma Mia!) as Martha Watson, Reagan Pender (Who is Tommy?) as Ralph Sheldrake, Lance Roberts (The music man) as General Henry Waverly and Savannah Austin (Annie) and Annie Piper Braverman (Frozen), sharing the role of Susan Waverly. The ensemble will include Claire Avakian, Lincoln Belford, Alison Blanchard, Lamont Brown, Sabrina Brush, Ragan Carter, Sydney Chow, Kelly Gleason, Candice Hatakeyama, Drew King, Ryan Lambert, Cory Lingner, Alex Lorca, Carina-Kay Lucci, Brady Miller, Larkin Riley, Buzz Roddy and Grace Marie Rusnica.

White Christmas features original Broadway choreography by Randy Skinner (reproduced by Christine Pope), original scenic design by Anna Louizos, coordinated by and with additional design by Kelly James Taye, original costume design by Carrie Robbins, coordinated by and with additional design by Antonio Consuegra, sound design by Matt Krauss and hair, wig and makeup design by The Wig Associates (Crystal Belleza and Will Vicari). Music Director will be Cynthia Meng and Production Supervisor will be Melissa Chacon. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting.
