Meet Baton Rouge mayoral candidate Coach Sid Edwards; clearing up confusion about voting question – WRKF

On the Baton Rouge ballot, a single measure asks voters to make hundreds of changes to the city’s governing plan. But some voters said the actual language on the ballot was unclear, requiring them to go to a website to find out exactly what they were voting for.

on WRKF Aidan McCahill joins us to help demystify the measure.

Election Day is less than a week away, and in Baton Rouge, all eyes are on the mayoral race. According to recent polls, the top three candidates, a Democrat Sharon-Weston Broome, Democratic challenger Ted James, and a Republican Sid Edwards all vote within 7 percentage points of each other, making the possibility of a runoff increasingly likely.

This week on Louisiana Considered, we bring you conversations with the top three candidates. On Monday we spoke to Mayor-President West Broome and on Friday we will hear from James. Joining us today is GOP candidate Sid Edwards.
