Volleyball travels to Johnson K. Smith Thursday, Shaw Monday – Winston-Salem State

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team will conclude its road trip beginning Thursday, Oct. 31, traveling to Charlotte, N.C. to face Johnson C. Smith University. The match is scheduled for 18:00 at Brayboy Gymnasium. The Rams will head to Raleigh, North Carolina on Monday. November 4, Shaw University takeover. The game is scheduled for 6:00 PM at CC Spaulding Gymnasium.

The Rams took all three games of the CIAA round. The Rams swept Virginia Union University and Lincoln University (PA) 3-0 on Saturday, October 26. The Rams then defeated Bowie State 3-1 on Sunday, October 27th.

The Panthers fell to Bowie State 3-1 on Sunday, October 27th. As of October 27, Eilina Moultrie leads the Golden Bulls with 116. Yasmine Cannon leads in aces (124) and assists with 17. Monique Ried leads in digs with 120 and Arliya Benner leads the Golden Bulls in blocks with 13.

Shaw University Scouts
The Panthers fell to Virginia State University 3-2 on Sunday, October 27th. Amari Earl leads the Bears in kills with 237 followed. Kripa Manuela Nasser leads the Bears in assists with 904. Malie Chupin leads in aces with 50, Kalia Morris digs with 384, Camille Patrick leads the team with 53 blocks.

Next up
The Lady Rams will return home on Wednesday, November 6th to play Livingstone College. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM in Whitaker Gymnasium.
