JabberWock program | 9 teenagers receive recognition in a debutant program for scholarships – ABC11 Raleigh -durham

Durham, NC (WTVD) – The head of Durham graduates of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority included the crowned 63rd Queen of her annual program JabberWock.

The 9 teenagers raised about $ 80,000 for scholarships, public programs and projects. Teens participated in various programs for education and personal development during the school year.

The debutants participated in the coronation of Miss NCCU, voluntarily with food distribution, participated in the Durham Alumnae holiday bazaar, and made shade boxes to highlight their unique personalities.

They even had a special visit from Carrie Everett, Miss North Carolina 2024.

The goal is to help you prepare them for college and outside.

JabberWock is a program distinctive for Delta Sigma TheTa Sorority, Inc.

The event included performances with the junior marshals of debutants, who were fellow teens and a special touching dance.

Bianca Holman of ABC11 gathered the event with Dr. Cache Reed. Miss Jabervok in 2025 was Tamaya Hill. The first runner was Mia Durant and the second runner was Alice Hearn.
