POUGHKEEPSIE – James Madison, who has more than 35 years of experience in the industry, has been named chief estimator for Mid-Hudson Construction Management (MHCM).

Having previously worked in the same capacity with other firms in the Hudson Valley and the Capitol—including Gilbane Building Company, Arris Contracting Company and Tishman Construction, among others—Madison has experience providing work estimates for new sites and vertical projects. construction, as well as interior and exterior repairs. His ability to collaborate with architects, consultants and municipalities will help MHCM deliver projects on time and on budget as he leads the pre-construction phases of clients’ projects.
Madison is a Certified Professional Appraiser with the American Society of Professional Appraisers, Certified in Building Construction Management from New York University, and is in the process of becoming a Fellow of the Design and Construction Institute of America. He also holds certifications under the OSHA program.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Madison reflects the MHCM team’s commitment to community service. A resident of Ulster County, he serves on the Architectural and Construction Technology Academic Advisory Committee at Dutchess Community College and previously held the position of Vice Chair of the Ulster County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
