And there’s still a chance for locals to snag a ticket to see Tim Dalling perform his one-man show at Irvine’s Harbor Arts Center on Sunday, November 3.
Born in Ayr, Tim has made a name for himself through his work as a performer over the years.
He will be a face familiar to many as the previous frontman of The New Rope Stringband – while he is also a regular on the UK panto circuit.
After branching out on his own, he wrote and recorded as a highly observant singer-songwriter and received rave reviews from a number of critics.
Now living in the North East of England, Tim’s return to Ayrshire is part of a rare Scottish tour which will see him perform his solo show in a number of small, intimate venues.
Councilor Alan Hill, cabinet member for communities and islands, is encouraging residents and visitors to book their tickets for this weekend’s performance.
He said: “The council’s arts and culture team are delighted to welcome Tim Dalling’s popular solo show to the Harbor Arts Center – our flagship culture and performance venue for North Ayrshire.
“What’s happening this weekend is a brilliant opportunity for residents and visitors to experience something different in a local and intimate venue.
“So if you’re looking for an escape now that the darker winter nights are upon us, why not pop along on Sunday 3rd November to see this iconic local act for yourself?”
Tickets are on sale now from the Harbor Arts Center Box Office or via the Ticket Source website. Doors to the event open from 19:00 before the performance starts at 19:30.
