The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the selection of its Leadership Fremont Class of 2025.
The nine-month program is designed to increase community awareness while developing emerging leaders in the Fremont area. The curriculum focuses on how to engage in the community and helps participants identify and improve their leadership styles. The class tours local landmarks to gain contextual information about the inner workings of government, business, and community organizations.
“It is essential that we provide the next generation of leaders of our community with the resources they need to understand their roles and the unique characteristics of Fremont. We hope that this program will not only open their eyes to the community’s strengths, but also encourage them to take an active role in shaping its future,” said Cindy Slickhuis, Chair of the Leadership Fremont program.
“By encouraging participation in this program, local employers are investing not only in their employees, but in the future of our community. Leadership Fremont’s proven track record of developing exceptional leaders has made it a sought-after program,” said Brenda Wilberding, president/CEO of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.
