Police have confirmed this morning (Wednesday 30 October) that a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of John Taylor.
Mr Taylor, 44, was found with serious injuries on the Town Crescent at around 1.55pm on Friday 18 October. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland say inquiries are continuing.
Two men – Kei O’Connor, 26, and Kieran Lindsay, also 19 – have already been arrested and charged with murder.
O’Connor appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, October 23, and Lindsay on Monday, October 28.

Both pleaded not guilty and were taken into custody.
A 53-year-old man who was previously arrested has been released pending further enquiries.
Detectives have set up a website which gives members of the public access to a form to send information directly to the major investigation team, which can be submitted anonymously.
