LeBron James continues to dominate the NBA. He is the oldest active player in the league and yet he is at his best. As the league continues to see a wave of young superstars, NBA veteran Rashad McCants had some harsh words for the rest of the league.
LeBron James managed to average 20.0 points, 7.5 assists and 7.0 rebounds to start the 2024-25 season. However, his signature performance came against the Sacramento Kings earlier this week. After a dominant fourth quarter performance against the Kings, McCants called out the rest of the NBA for “allowing” the 39-year-old James to dominate the league.
“These 20-23 year olds should be ashamed of themselves.”

McCants called out the young talent in the league for not being able to keep up with the older LeBron James. Given the league’s wave of young stars, he found it embarrassing to see James easily dominate the rest of the league.
Show host and former NBA player Gilbert Arenas also joined the conversation. He praised James for still playing at a high level despite his athletic decline.
James finished the game against the Sacramento Kings with 32 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, recording his first triple-double of the year. He finished the game with 16 points on 6/6 shooting along with six assists and five rebounds in the fourth quarter alone.
LeBron James is gearing up for a hometown comeback with his son Brony James
James had a rollercoaster week. After a dominant game against the Sacramento Kings, the Lakers superstar followed it up with a rest, scoring just 11 points in a loss against the Phoenix Suns.
However, the 39-year-old star will look to make a big impact when he plays in his hometown of Cleveland on Wednesday night. It will be a special night for LeBron, who gets to share the stands in his hometown with his son Bronnie James.

LeBron appeared in 849 games over 11 seasons for the Cleveland Cavaliers. After being drafted by the team in 2003, he left in the 2010 offseason to join the Miami Heat. He would return to Cleveland in 2014, delivering the franchise’s first NBA title in 2016.
During his time in Cleveland, James averaged a staggering 27.2 points, 7.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds. It will be a great occasion to see the King return to the hardwood in his hometown with his son.
