BART’s main delays reported due to track problems between Fremont and Union City – CBS News

The problems with the equipment caused great delays in Bart on Thursday morning throughout the system, according to transit officials.

Initially, BART reported at 5:21. Small delays due to a problem with the Berryess line due to a problem with the track equipment between the Fremont and Union City stations.

At 6:37, the agency reported major delays in all directions along the Berryessa line because of the problem with the track and a problem with the equipment on a train. Shortly before 7 o’clock in the morning, Bart said that there was a disabled train between the stations of South Hayward and Union City.

Bart said AC Transit offers a bus service on a 99 road between Fremont and South Hayward. The agency also said that there is a limited green line between Berryessa and Daly City.

“Passengers traveling from the San Francisco line can get on a train in Dublin/Pazanthon and transfer to Bayfair to the Berie train,” Bart said in a service signal. “Those who travel from the Berryessa line can get on Richmond’s train and transfer to Bayfair to Dali City.

There was no evaluation of when the service would return to normal.
