MPD: Teen arrested after allegedly punching, kicking officers on Madison’s north side – WMTV

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A teenager accused of allegedly punching and kicking two police officers was arrested Monday night, the Madison Police Department said Tuesday.

According to MPD, officers responded around 9:45 p.m. to the 1300 block of Monica Lane for a welfare check on a stranger who had fallen through an exit window.

When officers arrived on scene, MPD said officers found a 15-year-old under the influence. Authorities said the teenager tried to punch and kick two of the officers who responded to the welfare check. She was taken to hospital due to the degree of intoxication.

Authorities said the teenager was charged with two counts of battery on law enforcement and one count of disorderly conduct.
