Pittsburgh Steelers beat New York Giants for third straight win – Irvine Times

After a scrappy first half and both teams trading field goals for a 9-9 halftime score, Austin III broke free and found the end zone with just over four minutes left in the third.

The floodgates finally opened from there, with Austin III catching a 29-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to open the fourth quarter before a 45-yard run by Tyrone Tracy Jr. cut the Giants’ deficit to eight points.

After each team recorded another field goal, Steelers rookie cornerback Benny Bishop beat Giants quarterback Daniel Jones in the final minute to seal Pittsburgh’s third straight victory.

Steelers quarterback Wilson finished with 278 yards through the air to go along with his touchdown, while Jones accounted for 264 passing yards and an interception as New York extended its losing streak to three.
