The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a rough start after dropping two straight games after opening night. With the crushing 115-102 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, the Bucks are now 1-2 on the season. The early struggle resulted Gilbert Arenas and his talking heads to show concern for Giannis AntetokounmpoBucks led.
The Bucks got off to a strong start to their season opener when they beat the Philadelphia 76ers in a blowout. However, the absence of Joel Embiid and Paul George may be the cause. With Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard unable to make any connection, the ‘Gil’s Arena Show’ crew chimed in with their opinions.
Former Bucks player Kenyon Martin Sr also chimed in with his opinion. He criticized the Bucks’ coaching staff for the predictability of their offensive performances. He might be right, considering the Bucks haven’t had any real breakout games since acquiring Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Arenas also previously pointed out that the front office failed to retain Thanasis Antetokounmpo can cause growing pains. While both Lillard and Antetokounmpo have produced good offensive results individually, the lack of chemistry is a concern. Lillard is currently averaging 26.3 points and six assists per game, while Antetokounmpo is averaging an impressive 28.3 points along with 12.3 rebounds per game.
The Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff is raising eyebrows with two straight losses
Earlier this year, the Milwaukee Bucks fired their first-year head coach Adrian Griffin. The move surprised many as Griffin led the Bucks to second place in the Eastern Conference standings. After the departure of Griffin, the former Sixers head coach, Doc Riverstook over the mantle of managing Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.
Management then justified its actions with Griffin’s inability to make contact with the players. However, the team under Rivers failed to match the vision of the front office. For context, the team was 18-21 with Rivers at the helm, while they were 32-14 before he took over in January.

The situation brought more controversy to the mix when he was just fired Darwin Hamm joined the coaching staff. With the team heading into a tough schedule, Hamm and Rivers will have to come up with something. The Bucks have to face three teams in four days with the Boston Celtics opening up.
