End of dry spell: Baton Rouge weather calls for showers, Halloween storms possible – AOL

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRUD) — After a long dry spell, we finally have a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Unfortunately it will come on Halloween afternoon and evening.

Increasing clouds will begin Wednesday and continue through Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop along a cold front from the north and west and slowly move east during the day.

Some of the storms may be strong, so ghosts and goblins will need to carry an umbrella while trick-or-treating on Halloween night, especially north and west of the viewing area.

Temperatures will begin to drop into the low 70s during the evening.
