Chase Rice soars on Bluebird debut

Chase Rice recently made its Bluebird debut to celebrate its Sessions by the fire surprise release. The collection includes all 25 songs from his albums I hate cowboys and all dogs go to hell and Go Down Singin’ as live versions, one-offs.

BMI recently celebrated longtime sponsor, Studio Bank, during an evening of entertainment at its Nashville location. Hosted by BMI’s Mason HunterStudio Bank’s Ron Cox and Aaron Dorn welcomed attendees who enjoyed music from hit BMI songwriters Rhett Akins, Kelly Archer and Ryan Larkins.

Ashley Cook and Brantley Gilbert brought their chart-topping duet Last Call The Kelly Clarkson Show with a rousing performance of “Over When We’re Sober” this past Friday, October 25th.

“Over When We’re Sober” was co-written by Gilbert with Justin Wilson, Jelly roll and Brock Berryhill. The nationally televised appearance comes after Cooke’s headlining “Your Place Tour” celebrated its first weekend with shows in Utah and Denver this past weekend.

Last week The Listening Room Cafe hosted the music industry and fans for an exclusive Live Song Pitch Round featuring Liz Rose Music and friends included Phil Barton, Joe Fox, Adam Sanders, Lauren McLamb, Eric Paslay and Joe Ragosta. The unique event, which the venue plans to make into a recurring series, featured hit writers playing their raw songs to A&R and industry professionals, giving the public a live behind-the-scenes look at the heart of Nashville’s songwriting scene.
