Missouri basketball just secured its second commitment for the 2024 class in consensus 3-star power forward Nicholas Randall.
Randall, a native of St. Louis, Mo., now plays for Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona. He is nationally considered a top 150 recruit, ranked as the No. 117 player in the country. It also makes him the No. 7 player in the state of Arizona.
The Missouri native had offers from Creighton, Illinois, Kansas State and others. His last three schools consisted of the Tigers, Creighton Bluejays and San Francisco Dons.
Randall is a 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward who excels at rebounding and scoring in the paint. He has excellent fluid athleticism that translates well not only as a power forward, but as a modern NBA power forward.
The Tigers already have two commitments in the class of 2024. The other is another local guard, Aaron Rowe. Rowe has struggled since returning to Missouri State for high school basketball and now sits as a 4-star draft recruit, the No. 69 draft prospect in the country.
As for the other targets for the Tigers’ class, 4-star guard Davion Hanna tops the list. He has a list of final four schools that includes Cincinnati, Ohio and Alabama.
The Tigers have missed out on several 4-star targets so far, including guard Chuck Love Jr., center Xavier Staten and guard Dorian Jones.
Missouri basketball opens its 2024 season on Monday, Nov. 4, on the road against the Memphis Tigers.
