LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – While there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, these organizers say support is one of the best tools when it comes to fighting the disease.
2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Co-Chairs Javier de Anda and Valdimar Perez sat down with KGNS to talk more about the event, which can be seen in the video above.
The event is set to take place on Saturday, November 2 at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), located at 5201 University Blvd.
Registration starts at 8am, the ceremony starts at 9am and the walking route opens at 9:30am
There will also be activities after the walk, such as a t-shirt contest for the best team.
