Flatland Cavalry announce new song "Lubbock" – Central country

Flatland Calvary announced on their social media that they will be releasing their highly anticipated track “Lubbock” tonight at midnight.

The band debuted the song five years ago when they posted an acoustic version on YouTube to celebrate Texas Tech basketball’s National Championship success. It has since become a fan favorite. After years of begging, Flatland finally granted their listeners’ wishes after returning to Lubbock to properly record the song.

Flatland Calvary will release a collection of their favorite songs from the past decade to celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary. The release will be titled Plain forever and will feature new songs, unreleased recordings and work tapes. Their latest release, “Three Car Garage,” is already on it, and it’s safe to assume that “Lubbock” will be, too. Plain forever will be released everywhere on November 8th.

The band’s recent music seems simple, similar to their early days as a group on records like Humble people. Even after 10 years of career, they continue to impress and delight their fans.

“Lubbock” will be available everywhere at midnight.
