Alleghany County, Wdbj/Gray News – A long -time first response in Virginia died in the duty.
According to the volunteer fire and the rescue of Boli Springs, firefighter Steve A. Weykle, 70, died after responding to the collapse of the structure on Thursday.

Fire crews said Weikle responded with the volunteer fire of Boiling Springs and saved the collapse of construction with farm animals caught in the building.
Firefighters managed to save the animals, but shortly after they answered the call, Waykle was found in a cardiac arrest outside their home.
Officials said that after the emergency of medicine happened within 24 hours of an active call, the National Foundation for Fallen Firefighters believes that it has passed the death of Weikle.
Weikle has served as a firefighter for 49 years with a volunteer fire and rescue of boiling Springs.
He will be laid to rest with full honors of the fire department.
