MILPITAS, Calif. — Does your pet act like he’s being tortured when you take him to the vet? There is an online option for Milpitas pet owners.
The East Bay SPCA now offers a telemedicine service through its Theodore B. Travers Family Veterinary Clinic, offering pet owners an affordable and convenient way to access care from home.
It is available for all California residents.
Services include consultations for prescription preventives, anxiety medications, and more.
“Thanks to our new telemedicine program, we’ve been able to increase access to care and reduce the fear and stress experienced by pets and their people,” said Kristen Beitzel, vice president of medical services at the East Bay SPCA.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday.
