As Halloween approaches, you may be wondering what you can do to get your scare on. And I have the scariest ideas for you.
1. If you’re more of a party person who likes to have conversations, enjoy a drink and celebrate Halloween, we have just the thing for you. Cardinal Bar is hosting a Halloween 21+ Bar Crawl on Friday, October 25th from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. There will be drink specials and food specials, as well as a Halloween costume contest with a $2,000 prize. The event has a $10 entry fee and check-in is between 5:00pm and 9:00pm

2. Looking for a fun, family activity? Join State Street from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 30th for an exciting Halloween event. Enjoy a hayride around Capitol Square, crafts, art projects, stories and songs. Trick or treat at local businesses and then go to a movie screening of “Hotel Transylvania’ in Madison Parks after the event.

3. UDo you want to experience an unforgettable evening in the haunted forest of Shuster Farm? Walk through the corn maze where you pass through a series of small buildings, see awesome decorations and make some monsters jump out at you. Enjoy the thrilling experience. If that’s not your thing, don’t worry. There will be live music and a cozy fire for you to enjoy too. Opening night was September 28, and the Haunted Forest is open Friday and Saturday nights through November 2, plus Thursdays, October 24 and October 31.

4. Do you want to go for a drive this Halloween? Stoughton has one of the spookiest haunted houses in the area. Screaming Acres is advertised as a unique haunted attraction that “fully immerses its audience in a world of horror unmatched anywhere else.” If you find this statement to be true, report the experience to The Clarion.
All tickets will be sold online at www.screaminacres.com. The price is $28 to $32, but it’s worth the money if you’re a horror fan. Open 7pm to 11pm on Friday 25 October, Saturday 26 October, Friday 1 November and Saturday 2 November.
5. For lazy sofa and somewhat introverted, like yourselfsomething I recommended for Halloween night is just cozying up with close friends, watching scary movies, and eating a bunch of snacks. If you are in dire need movies I would I recommend “The Cinjury,“ “black Pimprove“ and “Us.”
