Five adorable seven-week-old puppies stolen from mother Freckles in County Durham – The Northern Echo

The incident happened at a property in Callow last night when the five adorable puppies were stolen, leaving their mother Freckle devastated.

The dogs are too young to be separated from Freckle – and therefore need to be returned to her urgently.

Durham Police have now issued a desperate plea to anyone who has seen a suspicious puppy for sale postings or adverts online, urging them to get in touch.

A statement said: “Have you seen these puppies?

“Last night five 7-week-old cocker spaniel puppies were brutally stolen from a property in Callow, County Durham, leaving their mother, Freckles, heartbroken.

“These cubs are too young to be separated from her and must be returned urgently. Please watch out for suspicious posts or ads for sale.

“If you have any information, contact police on 101 quoting incident number DHM-28102024-0031.”
