LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man is dead after crashing into a light pole in North Las Vegas on Friday.
Officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 5:23 p.m. near Craig Road and Donna Street. On arrival, officers found a man, believed to be in his 40s, with a head injury.
Medical teams transported the man to UMC Travma, where he later died.
An investigation revealed that a Nissan Versa was traveling westbound on Craig approaching Donna Street and left the roadway before striking a light pole.
The forensic experts add that the driver of the Nissan was not wearing a seat belt. Impairment is also believed to be a factor in the crash.
