29-year-old woman found shot to death at Cook Out in Durham – AOL

The Durham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting Saturday night at a popular fast-food chain.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a shooting at the Cook Out in the 1500 block of South Miami Boulevard, east of downtown Durham County.

Davisia Annie Jean Lee, 29, was found dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

About 90 minutes earlier, five miles away, four people were shot and three were hospitalized after reports of a shooting at 231 Eagle Campus Drive on the campus of NC Central University in Durham, ABC11, media partner of The News & Observer, reported.

In a separate incident on campus, a person was taken into custody after reports of shots fired in the parking lot of Debra Saunders-White Residence Hall at 2103 Fayetteville St., police said. The two shootings on NC Central’s campus happened during homecoming festivities.
