Lane restrictions and road closures in Pickering, Oshawa – Durham Post

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Ritson Road South (Regional Route 16) in the City of Oshawa.

When: October 28 to December 6. Adverse weather conditions may affect the work schedule.

where: Ritson Road South, from Viola Avenue to Mitchell Avenue, in Oshawa.

Why: For the safe repair of the deck of the Canadian Pacific Railway bridge at Kansas City.

Note: The region said it recognizes the work can be disruptive and will make every effort to complete it.

Brock Road in Pickering

Durham Regional Municipality is advising residents of lane restrictions on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in Pickering Township.

When: October 29 and 30.

where: Brock Road, from one kilometer north of Fifth Concession Road to 200 meters south of Highway 407, in Pickering.

Why: Completion of the repair of the asphalt covering of the bridge.

Oshawa Road Closed

Bridle Road and Windfields Farm Drive East in Oshawa will be closed to traffic.

There will be no access for emergency vehicles.

Road closure and detour signs will be posted in accordance with provincial standards.

When: From October 16 to November 18

where: Windfields Farm Drive East – Steeplechase Street to Bridle Road.

Bridle Road – Winchester Road east to Gulfstream Avenue.

Why: Road repair and marking.
