The Philadelphia Eagles are looking for their third straight win on Sunday.
Philadelphia will face the Cincinnati Bengals on the road with a chance to get their fifth win of the season. The Eagles are currently in second place in the NFC East at 4-2, but a win over the Bengals could give the Eagles a shot at first place in the division. The Washington Commanders will face a red-hot Chicago Bears team with quarterback Jaden Daniels.
The Eagles themselves have a tough matchup against the Bengals, as Cincinnati has turned things around recently after a rough start to the season. Cincinnati has looked like a contender lately, as many expected. But the Bengals got some bad news at the end of the week.
Cincinnati has a “real chance” to lose star Ty Higgins Sunday against the Eagles, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.
“According to sources, there is a real chance that Bengals (wide receiver) Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, will miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles,” Graziano said. “The Bengals plan to continue until the game before making a decision, but there is pessimism about his chances of playing.”
Higgins is in his fifth season with the Bengals and has developed into a dynamic offensive weapon. He has two 1,000-plus seasons under his belt, and it looks like the 2024 season could be his third. It will change things a bit if he is forced to miss Sunday’s game.
